We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our first Workshop on Sustainability, held at Politecnico di Torino. This engaging three-day event marked a significant step in advancing sustainable practices within the framework of the TWIN-IT-ROMANS project.
The workshop brought together project partners to discuss sustainability practices, exchange knowledge, and explore innovative solutions for a greener future. From insightful presentations on sustainability strategies to discussions on real-world applications, the event served to reinforce our collective commitment to responsible and intelligent manufacturing.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Politecnico di Torino team—Prof. Giuseppe Quaglia, Prof. Carmen Visconte, and Dr. Andrea Botta—for their exceptional hospitality and contributions.
A special thank you is also extended to Prof. Patrizia Lombardi, Vice-Rector of Politecnico di Torino, for her inspiring presentation on Polito’s Sustainable Campus and Living Lab, highlighting the institution’s dedication to sustainability in education and research.
We are also grateful to our Project Coordinator, Prof. Mehmet İsmet Can Dede, for his invaluable leadership and contributions in guiding the discussions throughout the workshop.
