The TWIN-IT-ROMANS Summer School on Robot-Assisted Milling and 3D Printing took place from 26 July to 2 August 2025 at the Management Center Innsbruck, Austria.

Over the course of one intensive week, participants engaged in an outstanding programme featuring keynote lectures, hands-on workshops, and large-scale robot-milling demonstrations. The summer school explored topics ranging from additive manufacturing fundamentals, fibre-reinforced composite mechanics, and hybrid machining to mobile manipulators and human–robot interaction—all within the framework of advancing intelligent and sustainable production.

Beyond the technical programme, the event also created valuable opportunities for networking and collaboration. Shared experiences such as mountain hikes, alpine dinners, and informal discussions enriched the community spirit and strengthened ties that will foster future cooperation.
