As part of our ongoing commitment to gender equality in STEM, we are pleased to share the successful completion of our first outreach activity.
With the support of IEEE Women in Engineering, our Gender Equality Manager, Dr. Benay Uzer, delivered an inspiring seminar to high school students. The session introduced participants to the field of Mechanical Engineering, encouraging them to explore and consider career opportunities within this dynamic and innovative discipline.
Although the event was organized by IEEE Women in Engineering, we take pride in having contributed to this meaningful initiative. It was encouraging to witness members of the TWIN-IT-ROMANS project actively engaging in efforts that empower the next generation of engineers.
This activity marks the beginning of our broader efforts to promote diversity and inclusion within the fields of manufacturing and engineering. We remain committed to supporting initiatives that inspire and encourage underrepresented groups to pursue careers in STEM.
We extend our sincere appreciation to IEEE Women in Engineering for their role in making this event possible. We look forward to future collaborations that contribute to fostering inclusivity and diversity in the engineering community.
